Bit Torrent isn't ty. You just need to set up your computer so that you can get decent speeds. |

Is this actually illegal anyway? Explanation from mod would be nice before thread gets closed.
It was a free set anyway, broadcast on TV; surely it would just be the same as asking for a video recording of the ceremony? |

Trust me, this argument that you're using now has been tried and failed many times.

It's less an argument, more a question; WHY isn't it allowed? :conf: |

You can record anything you want from tv so long as you keep it for private use. It's illegal to distribute or broadcast it in any way, shape, or form. This law might be circumstantial with each network, but I think it applies to most.
Actually I don't know if it's directly illegal or if there is a specific law that prohibits broadcasting and distribution TV recordings, but I do know that you can be sued for doing so...it's not that much different from live sets. Even if it's illegal you can still do it and mostly you'll get away with it because noone really cares. Unless you mess with NBC or the NFL.
Also, you live in the UK so there's a good chance that none of this applies to you. |
