| Personally I wear neither but I have friends who swear by glasses and some who swear by contacts and some I know had lasik surgery. To each his or her own I guess. |

It's the exact opposite for me. I tried contacts about 3 years ago during my freshmen and sophomore years in high school. They worked great for a while, but then started to hurt like a mother******. I would constantly have to take my contacts out during school, which started to piss me off. So, I decided to boycott them and haven't worn them since. As for glasses, I've worn them since 4th grade and have a strong preference for them. The way I see it, glasses anymore are in fashion, with all the major designers creating frames. Some of them look damn stylish and slim that they can only enhance one's appearance. I've always wanted that look the people have in the DKNY or Polo posters in the eye-doctor's office, and now that I have that type of look, I'm pleased and I think I look better with glasses rather than contacts.
I may try contacts again, but probably not for a long while. |

That's something I'm afraid would happen. It happened to one of my friends. So I guess it's common on some people. I'll just have to wait and see how this turns out. Hopefully no problems will arise.:) :) |

Yeah for some people picking contacts is tricky. If you experience discomfort you should go back to the optometrist and get him to give you another brand. It can take a while to find one that's suitable for you. |

I wear contacts during the day and I take em out after I work out in the evening.
I started wearing glasses in 4th grade. I got contacts between 9th and 10th so that I could see while playing football (hard to wear glasses under a helmet :)), and I've never had problems. Except when they tried to give me hard contacts. Jeebus, those things suck. |

I once did an eyetest, and they told me my eyesight is seriously decresing:nervous: If I ever need glasses or contacts, I'll go for contacts because glasses don't suit me.
For now it's eating carrots I guess:happy2:
Ehm, what's up doc? |

| Right now I only have to wear glasses when using a computer, but I know that probably my sight gets worse by the time. If it's the case, I suppose I stick to the glasses, just for the fact that I can't touch my eyes. |

I probably second that, my eyes are precious organs! If I ever need a thing to restore my eyesight, it's going to be a difficult choise! |

| Touching your eyes is easy... you only need to be able to touch the white part. |
