No seriously I agree with much of what a lot of people are saying in this thread, but in all honesty there's really nothing you can do to stop it outside of banning the people who just come on to spam, but then 10 minutes later someone will be doing it again. |

on a side note tho, the newer threads in the muisc discussion forum, have actually had constructive replies. maybe there's still hope..:) |

i have more CORe posts than regular posts...actually right now its probably 50-50 ish...does that mean i should be banned? i don't think so. what it means is that the rest of the board has gone to hell and i'm not as interested in posting my thoughts on music as often because i just have to deal with all the crap in return. i still post in MD though...quite regularly... |

Thing is about moderators, i see Arturo on each section as mod, but i hardly see the dude... not that i dislike you Arti :p. But an example, There should be active mods on each section and it should be people that have experience with the subject of the section. |

This is assuming that everybody with bigger COR post count are just spamming about posting nothing but complete nonsense. While this is true in some cases, it certainly doesn't apply to everyone.

yeah but how hard is it to create a new account if you make a return, or is keeping your post count that important to you. seriously if it is, you shouldn't be here. In fact, that's another suggestion.. plz let everyone have 'custom status' straight away so we dont have multiple uslees posts in the good forums. There's far too many younge rmembers who really care what it says under their user name.

You could say that about any of the existing rules. Rules always get broken. Make it a rule, then if there are enough mods who can move or delete the offending threads.

I can't help but think alot of the mods out on closing and deleting stuff (unlike neo) because they are afraid about their reputation (see neo's fame with alot of people). if thre were seperate mod accounts made with no identity attached, that could help?.. i don't know, it's a suggestion. |

It seems to me that TA which used to be an amazing board for having a large number of very knowledgeable and appreciative music fans has just become a place to argue or publicise someone and their projects, and I think it's a shame, as now you ask about a tune and you get old to use discogs, which yes is a great resource, but in the past we'd have been able to talk about the particular track and have lots of opinions respected where now there's just so many trolls.
So am I the only one who sees this happening or Am I being paranoid ? |
