planned to make it to the next AnjunaNight (which is actually this one now) but since its on a thursday :(
and it doesnt really make sense to travel to a party which already ends at 3am

Yeah its because of the turnmills club has their gallery nights on the weekend which makes it near impossible to get a dedicated Anjuna night.

Unfortunately i wont be at the this one. But the next one ill be there with Ricksta! :D

So is anyone actually going to this? I am quite keen myself but cannot get any support from my usual clubbing mates...they're hard enough to get out on a Friday or Saturday.
Trance@CU
I definitely want to go! I don't have a clubbing crew here though :( . Diesel I would be up for meeting up with you and then hitting the club. Classes don't start for me until 4-10, so I want to party as much as possible before then. NE 1 else?! C'mon UKTA'sv:eyes:

What you do is, you walk to Hollywoods 24 hour cafe/diner in Clerkenwell and chill out with cups of tea for a couple hours, same as everyone else!

So typically what time do people show up? / When do the main DJ's hit the floor?

Got back from this about 3 hours ago and now having a crack-on back at mine. Good party: Super8 did set of the night, A&B weren't bad but Smith & Pledger were disappointing, especially as they played the last set of the night.

Still, can't complain at the price: £4 for entry into Turnmills 2nd room and then 4 DJ's. Not bad at all - a good night! :D

Nice work. Any track highlights? Was it busy? Ended up getting blind at Canary Wharf and was in no state to make it to Turnmills...IDIOT!!! Might end up at gallery tonight though

It was pretty busy - the place was pretty much full with a very passionate and surprisingly knowledgable crowd. A lot of fervent Anjuna fans in there - the booth was constantly surrounded by trainspotters - and pretty much all the Anjunabeats tunes that were played (and there were a few ;) ) were met with plenty of enthusiasm.

As for track highlights, I'll try and post what I remember of the set lists in a bit but in general, I think the best-received tune of the evening was when Paavo played A&B's mix of 'Silence' and my personal tune of the night was an as-yet-untitled 'work in progress' track by Smith & Pledger which they played about three tracks from the end of a surprisingly deep and techy set.

I'll repeat what I said earlier about Super8 as well: he played easily the set of the night. A great building set of very bouncy & proggy tunes, interspersed with some of his own new tracks, which the crowd loved. This was his UK debut and I'd gladly pay to see him again. :D
