I so dearly miss the impersonal interaction with anonymous strangers who somehow continually succeed in pissing me off without even knowing me or speaking to me directly. It's quite remarkable actually - it takes a special kind of personality dysfunction to be able to accomplish that.
I mean the diversity is truly incredible. You've got your village idiots, and your blithering idiots, and your simpletons, and your slack-jawed yokels, and your drooling morons, and your horny pubescent teenagers... depressed loners, bored loners, oh and emotionally-charged anti-Americans, attention-seeking women, misogynistic men... and of course let's not forget the druggies, the 11-year-old internet newbies, the criminally insane, oh and I almost left out the best part, INTERNET COUPLES!!! Where else can you find such a diverse group of people with nothing better to do than post on an internet forum all day?
The feelings of isolation are almost overpowering sometimes, but I will continue to resist...
