Exactly. I have some acquaintinces that I don't really spend a lot of time with anymore and I'm sure that they don't understand why. It's because everytime I see them or speak to them everything they say and do is negative. They drain me. That's why I hate the negative posting on here. It gets old. My everyday life has enough of it. I don't need to come on to TA and read it too. I decided a long time ago to eliminate as much negativity from my life as possible. I got rid of my ex. I moved. I ended some friendships. Now I strive to surround myself with positive people. I don't care how lame that seems to some people. My life is better because of it. My friends are all wonderful people. I am not the happiest person in the world, but that is only because of finances. I love my family, friends, my pets, and definitely my boyfriend. I love the friends that I have met off of TA. And...of course I love music. Without it I think I would feel lost. ;) |

the reason that we don't talk as much as we used to is because i'm negative sometimes (example today you said you could make a list of the bad things i say about myself) and you are tired of hearing it and trying to block me out :eek:
that's ok...it's understandable...but gimme another chance amber...i can be positive!! :D |

I think sometimes we hit an age or a time in our life where we say enough is enough. I subjected myself to chaos on a daily basis. There were times that my life was in such a downward spiral due to all of the drama that I doubt that I could have told you my middle name. Now if there is any drama it better be because I caused it! :p |

Oh boy. Quote me. :p I never said I was tired of hearing it. I only said you are negative about yourself because you are. Even off of TA you are hard on yourself. You know you are. ;) |

You are not going to lose my friendship because you fail to see the good things about yourself. I am talking about the people that think their life sucks yet they take no action to make changes to better it. The ones that are always seeking others to pity them when they honestly don't even have it that bad. They find the negative in every situation and when something good happens to other people they can't find it in themselves to be happy for them. Or the people that are constantly talking about other people and always gossiping. |
