These might be obvious to you but me and my friends have been debating..

What is it with "303" why are so many titles of songs and album names contain 303 in them?

Second is GOA an acronym?

Thanks for any help

The roland 303 is a synthesizer that creates those acid sounds found in 90% of electronic songs :) So alot of people felt the need to name their songs after it. And Goa isn't an acronym, its the name of the place in India where Goa music was first created.

Goa trance is definately named after a region in India... It doesn't have to mean that's where it was developed, I think that's where it got popularized...

I thought it was named after GOA 'cause it brings up a sphere that reigns there, you know like dreamtrance, brings up a phere as in a dream.
Don't like it so much though,I can listen to it,but it's not so that I'm gonna like after it
