Maybe its because I havent seen tiesto in almost a year, or because replaying the 7-4-03 space set over and over in my car just had me really pumped for last night, but tiesto completely blew my mind. A good mix of old and new tracks, and it was exactly what i wanted to hear last night in terms of style. I rate this the second best tiesto set i've heard to date, and one of the best overall sets i've heard this year. I dont think i stopped dancing for even a second. Cant WAIT to see him in amsterdam now! and i love how they announced him over Adagio.... that was hot.
i took over a hundred pics... but i'm only going to post some of my favorites... as well as some pics from the afterparty @ vics. i also have some sick videos, but i have to figure out how to get them off my camera!
my first time at vics was definitely enough to make me want to go back.... i had a ing awesome night and it was great seeing so many TAs.... especially lyssa @ your man, frost and alisa, sergio & vlad my navigators, dave my dance partner - it was fun being the last ones dancing , dom my late-night/all morning party partner - hey i made it to work at 2:30 ON THE DOT am i good or what!, vic it was awesome meeting you and your set kicked ass, and all the other fun people i got to meet :)
by the way vic in case you didnt know, your bathroom door lock is kinda broken and i was trapped in your bathroom for a long time this morning. i didnt think i was ever gonna get out! :nervous:

Whatever, I'm not a Tiesto hater, I just think he's overrated... I bought his "Just Be" CD only to be disapointed. Oh, another nail in the coffin for my interest in Tiesto was his interview in the "Remix" magazine where he talks about himself in a third person - talk about having a big ing head!
Anyway....

the whole dj-culture thing is over-rated with all the dj whores, trainspotters and general stalkers that follow all of the stars around kissing their feet. Doesn't matter if ur oakey, tiesto or PvD - its just part of their and our world we live in. NO need to blame the artist for them! |

HeH.. great reviews. I will be seen Tiesto @ The bay tonite.. After reading this, im really hyped about it, the Tiesto whores are in full effect down here, going to Tieston the Bay then @ Space.. which is allready sold out!!.. Me Can't Wait!! .. Glad most had an awesome time!! .
I WANT TO HEAR 643!!! Only heard live when PvD played @ Space for WMC! heh, and Tiesto @ Ultra 4. |
