School news paper (Ideas)

So me and these 2 other girls are working on my school news paper(music section). My school is very multicultural but everyone listens to Urban music(hip hop, regueton, rap etc). So Im dedicating an article to the few clubbers or people that are into the music. Im still not sure what im going to write about but i got the OK to write about Underground music. Im also thinking of reviewing one trance Cd every issue (i buy atleast 5 Cds a month so np)....im just wondering if you guys have any ideas?
Im also gonna work with one of the girls on a heavy metal page....(im into that also).
I kinda see it as a bad thing though...its not a type of music EVERY teenager listens 2. I feel as though i am the only(in my age range) one that goes out of his way just to get to an event (the ones that i can go 2), buys a load of trance cds,changes his room with a psychedelic feel, so many little things that make me who i am. and just loves the music. Not many people i know are that involved in the music.(again in my age range) |

i think you should widen the variety but in general, the ignorant public loves trance more than any other genre in EDM. def hit up the big names, since pvd and tiesto have become pretty household nowadays.
how about a review of 1 or 2 classic albums so you can "school" them on the roots of EDM? (het hem, GU sasha in ibiza, GU danny t in athens, faithless - reverence)
also, people really love trancey chill out music. anything by cafe del mar, and the solar stone chill out euphoria mix is perfect. much of this stuff is available at borders (something you should add in your review as well! locations or websites where they can purchase.) :) |

HEhe thanks...your always great help:). Still looking into what i may review for them. Right now (in the trance section) im thinking of starting with Just be and then for the 2nd issue review Way out west new cd. I dunno what ill do yet but the more ideas the better:)
EDIT:Forgot to mention we will have reviews for Hip hop, heavy metal, trance, and if anyone else comes up that wants to review some type of spanish music then hehe it will be great:).
