Wow... is this seriously your fisrt track? It sounds so professionally done.
I can say that I don't like your hats. It sounds like their horribly compressed, although the bitrate hints that that's the way their supposed to sound. Get better hats is all I can say so far.
Don't be afraid to bring out your melody. Everything in this song sounds so quiet. I'd like to be able to hear it better. This might be linked to your hats problem.
You could also do well to make it a little bit longer. Get some more sounds in there. Add little subtle things that increase the feel of the song. |

lol the beginning sounds like some tune that i friggin forgot the name of...I dont wear hats, nor do i know what hats are, but the melody takes you places. i like it a lot. but the repetitive underlying beat just gives me a headache and it shakes my desk a bit. :stongue: ahhh that run is beautiful with the melody!!!!

Uhmm... Beginning sounds like the synth structure on Veracocha - Carte Blanche, but that doesn't matter. Your melody is great, makes me think of those back in the 1999/2000! Great with the piano, but you really should consider adding some reversed crashes or other sound FX! (I keep missing them in the TA amature music production)

Not hard trance as i thought. But its awesome.. Very good though.
For a moment of thought, I thought Im lsitening to Veracocha - Carte Blanche. Its sound rather same.
But it sure bring back the sound of 1999/2000 type of sound!
good work.. first work! great man!keep it out..
Change the hi hat asap. Hope to hear the better one... Keep it up. Looking for another stuff of urs..

Hi fake_illusion,
The startup does sound like Carte Blanche, id loose that if you getting serious about this track. PADs are a bit too loud, kick is punchy but there is something about it what i dont like, its to...um..thuddy, and the percussion needs sum work also. The bass sounds arite to me, still needs a bit mid / low to make it stand out more but that is the kick also causing the problem.
I like the piano but it needs some softening and widening done. I like the main lead and the 303 backing along with it although it could do with more detuning and phattening. Still that percussion tho...
Im really liking the second piano riff, i like that a great deal and how the percussion filters up, along with the stall of the main lead, i like things like that good stuff!
Overall good attempt, gotta keep going tho and working with it, i think you have the general idea for making trance just using the right instruments and stuff is where its lacking at the moment and also check out mastering techniques.
