well that was a good night!
quite packed as per usual, but i found that it wasn't as bad as it was back in March, and so it was bearable.
Good to see the lads again (Y)
Now i think a few people will disagree with me, but i thought that his set was superb in an entertainment sense. I really enjoyed the tunes he played. Unfortunately, i think his tracklist flow and track repetition was a bit off :stongue:
Mikey said that he was pissed off of his face. Coincidentally, PvD was actually interacting with the crowd for once!!!! :crazy: and it was great fun to see the man bouncing around, playing air chords and generally having a good time. This was a complete distance away from the man we usually know as PvD! Mikey and Sy said his mixing was a bit off, but tbh, i couldn't hear anything distinctivly obvious, and his pissed mixing was better than tiesto's sober mixing, so i'll take that any day of the week.
PvD should get pissed more often!!!! :D

TOOL, FOR AN ANGEL (OMG), Whiteroom vs Jump the Next Train (twice!!!), rising stars - feelin me (Phynn remix)(twice...with only one tune in between?! lol), Crush, In Deep, Summer sun/dream (the kuffdam and plant one), Need to be loved (thrillseekers), Fancy Fair, Solange - Messages (OMFG!!!), Alive, Wir Sind Wir, new Alter ego tune?, i'm sure there were many other obvious ones too!

WOOOOOOW was amazing, hes definatly got alot better since i saw him earlier in the year, he seems to be abit more lively and interacts with the crowed more.
I was just wondering if you could help on a few tunes he played - What was the tune he was playing when the american money was burning on the screen, and there was another tune with "coming home" in the lyrics. It started with a man speaking and then slowly started singing.
Hope you can help.
Also do you people meet up at these events? Its just none of my mates except a few like going clubbing,and i jus wanna meet more clubbing nutters. |
