I am looking for some feedback and suggestions for this new track of mine... it is a kind of progressive trance track i think.. and should work really fine on the dancefloor..

Subtle - Sins Of Hope (protomix)

would be really appreciatable :)

The bassline thingy crashes with the drum, you better take a look at that part. And the melody is wierd :) It's cool! I like your fx's!

i like the kick, but the bassline is really weird i think, it kills the track from my point of view, the lead is a bit raw for my taste, but it just my opinion, like the percussion though, i would use lot more effects, and i think it needs a secondary melody on the main you did, and when i say secondary melody, it means nothing complex, just some 3-4 note melody, it would glue the whole thing,

anyway i like it, just needs more work on it, and you will have a really nice tune:)

keep it up Stian:)

The whole is good maximized. Perc is good, very nice congo - loop. But, when the bass is entering, it reminds me hause music, I don't like hause music... The lead @ 2:33 is - in my opinion - very poor, and also it don't have any delay, or good reverb...

Taking everything into consideration i think this perc is very, very good, but lead - tune'n'bassline are poor and humdrum...

LOUD! That intro really got my attention. :)

Woo, sounds like Safri Duo...

You'll want to raise the compression quality in the final mix. That hat sounds ugly as is.

There's a lot of distortion on the kick, and it's really grating on me.
Look into that.

No likey the lead. It's really kinda thin, and it seems really directionless.

This break down isn't really dance floor friendly, IMO. It'd be a good place for a MC to break into some ragga rant, but that's about it.

Right before 6:00. That sustained bass note == ugly.

You've got a good idea, but you've got some synth work and mastering to do. I guess that's why you call this the protomix, though. ^^

You allready know that I like the percussions :D
