A hello from Boston

Hey guys!
How are you?:gsmile: :gsmile: :gsmile:
I miss you all so frickin much! I’m in Boston and I didn’t know how much I’d miss Florida and all of you until I got here! Would you believe it that I’ve been here for about 3 weeks or so and this past Friday night was the first night I went out and heard some good music! Courtesy of Dave and Josh. (G&D). God, I miss the Miami nightlife so much! And of coarse all of you! :toocool: :toocool: :toocool:
I miss Space, Crobar, and all those parties we all met up at!
I miss those Friday morning I would log on to TA and see all the “roll call” threads. I miss being able to wear short skirts and open toe shoes! I miss the feeling of being hot – not in freezing!
But I chose this and I’ll ride it out. School is good – lots of reading, that’s what sets me back sometimes. Some of you might know that I play tennis, so with that said – let me tell you – NEVER play a varsity sport in college! IT SUCKS!:whip: Well at least for me it does – I’m away every frickin weekend, I practice till 7 at night and then I’m too tired to even go out to eat, and on top of all – on weekends that we get to stay home we have to show around to recruits.
But anyhow, Boston has almost no dance scene so what does Katie do – goes out to bars and almost throws up when “Yeah” and “Lean Back” are played every 20 minutes.
I will be back home for Thanksgiving and then for Christmas.
I can't wait to party with all of you!

I'm sorry to hear this Katie!! I'm originally from Stow, MA, about 45 minutes west of Boston, and I didn't like it much up there at all... In fact, that's why I'm in Atlanta now, instead of some school up there... my condolences haha :( where are you going to school up there??
But yeah, the scene up there is pretty much dead. My friends that do like our music pretty much go to Avalon for big names, and go to matrix on friday nights for some mediocre house/dance... You gotta keep in mind, though, that NYC is not that far at all :crazy: find some friends that wanna make the drive, go down there for the night, have a nice meal, and hit up a nice party!
As much as I hate the weather up there too, you have to admit that the fall is really nice - make a drive up to new hampshire or vermont sometime, the leaves and mountains this time of year are beautiful :)
BTW, I'm probably going to be home october 15-19, maybe we could hit up something sometime that weekend?

I go to Boston University.
Gavin - I just had an Ivitational tournament up @ Dartmouth and I found NH and VT VERYYY PRETTY!
I'm definately a season girl - its just a matter getting thru the winter. Thats all.
I'm not complaining - I love it. It'll take some time to adjust but oh well... I'll be fine!

btw, I just found out Sasha and James Zabiela are going to be at Crobar in NYC on october 15 (friday), I'm getting together a crew of peeps that wanna drive down if you're interested ;)

Katiee!! great to know your surviving hehehe.. BOSTON ISS SO NICEEE!! I love it there, the seasons and all, but is not the usual clubbing city.. but overall, is awesome. I got bunch of friends that left to BU, they really like hehe.. Hope to c ya soon!
