This track isn't quite done yet, but its a very personal track that I want to get absolutly perfect. There are a few elements that need to be brought in, but I'd like opinions on the production and EQ'ing. Also, what would you add? What needs work?

Hello!
It sound like an ambient! :-)
Personally I don't like ambient, cause - in my opinion - it doesent have so much energy. But your production have nice climate, when I listening this track, I feel your emotions, and I hold it. Actually, track need some EQ correts, and it needs good maximizer, cause it sounding too much silence.
Greetings,
Lee Silver. |

Where could the EQ be improved? Also, there are a few areas of space that are going to be filled, so I didn't want to excite anything just yet. I appreciate the feedback. |

Firstly, I think that you should use maximizer, for example L2 (Waves). After it will be easier to ascertain what kind of changes you should do with EQ... But it is just my opinion.
In this moment I think that this track need more mid, and high band... Here is too much low band... |

very nice lead synth sound, good sound quality. i like the song idea in general. It builds nicely.
It could be a sasha/digweed type epic stomper I reckon.
At about 1:15 the bass starts to come and build but i think its not proment enough (more contrasting sound) -bass needs to come in more solid/punchy (possibly top end more) . Also the usual opn hat snare?fx build when song starts at around 1:30.
But as an ambint type tune is very nice as it is.
well done. |
