| u gotta check your record settings in windows to see if you have it checked. its supposed to go out of the mixer into your phono-ins on the audiophile. but if your trying to playback sound in real-time, unfortunately the usb audiophile can't do that. i bought the same soundcard and spent hours trying to figure that out b4 i realized it couldn't be done. the usb audiophile is only good for usage w/ production programs or recording only. |

I'm not sure if you checked this or not....
go to Control Panel --> Sounds and Multimedia --> and look for recording device and playback device.
Make sure that the 'recording device' is correctly chosen as well as the 'playback device'.
Most of the time, if the recording/playback devices are not correctly chosen, you will not hear anything for playback, as well, you will not be able to record anything.
Hopefully, choosing the correct audio devices fixes your issue.
My guess is you probably have the onboard audio device still chosen for recording/playback and you have not told your computer to use the USB audiophile device yet. |
