| As far as I know, MDMA does NOT cause hallucinations. However, it's pretty much impossible to get pure MDMA these days, so you really can never be too sure what you're getting. For this reason, I don't bother with that kinda , cuz I really don't trust my body to a substance that is of questionable quality and purity. |

| Anything with an strong stimulant effect on the body can create sensory experiences within the mind. |

Yes. MDMA is defined as a mild hallucinogen. I've had a few friends who have hallucinated on it before. Granted it won't give you intense trip outs like acid does, though. |

| Are you sure they were on PURE MDMA? It's hard to get these days... a lot of the time there might be like PCP mixed in, and that WILL give you hallucinations, as far as I've read. |

| Well, I've read the opposite... that it DOES NOT cause them. But then again, I don't know much, having never tried the stuff. I'm too lazy to look up. |

"MDMA’s acute effects last from three to eight hours and its short-lasting effects include feelings of euphoria, enhanced mental and emotional clarity, sensations of lightness and floating and other hallucinations".

"The term "psychedelic" may be misleading; MDMA -- unlike alcohol -- does not cause hallucinations, even in substantial overdoses."
- John Dentinger, drug expert
"MDMA does not cause hallucinations and other extreme changes in perception in the way that mescaline does."
- From a study entitled:
A HUMAN PHASE II STUDY –SAFETY AND EFFICACY OF 3,4-METHYLENEDIOXYMETHAMPHETAMINE (MDMA)- ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF CHRONICPOSTTRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD)

Anyways, there's lots of things out there that say it doesn't. I guess it depeneds on how you define "hallucination."
Trying going to google and typing mdma "not cause hallucinations" |
