Hi there,
for some time now I've been working with Reason 2.5 and my keyboard (roland em 15) works great with it.
When I use Cubase I won't here a thing. I also have the Absynth 2.0 plugin but my keyboard doesn't work with that eather.
I use a 2x2 MIDI interface. What has to be my IN and OUT channel setup in cubase ? or is it another problem ?
please help me so I can produce some tracks :)

Did u install the driver carefully?
I using MIDI sport 2 x 2. Works fine with me...
ON the Midi, ALL MIDI INPUT (IN). for OUTPUT, if ur keyboard was plug in A then choose MIDI SPORT A. Click on the rec button on the track so U be able to hear some sound...
Or rather is ur keyboard on LOCAL OFF???
Check those out mate.. Dunno it helps for u... |

If you keyboard is working with Reason, then it's probably not your Midi interface. Try this -
Start Cubase & create a new project.
Create a new midi channel.
Add Absynth to your VST instruments.
Now, on that Midi channel you created, look at the settings column on the right side. Select MidiSport A or B for the midi input
and Absynth for the Midi output.
Make sure that channel is selected, then poke a key or 2 and see if it works.
I'll do some screen shots for ya when I'm back home. |
