wait your being a to vague...can you be a little less specific! Sorry I had to jump on the wagon. Start by striping it down..pass a filter or eq on that sample and just let the low end pass through so you don't get confused with all the other sounds in there. You should be able to figure out the pattern of and sound, which is pretty staright forward. Then do the same but just let the high end pass through and analyze the high end. This is pretty extreme but it will help out.

HAHAA if he doesn't even know how to make a beat how the hell do you expect him to know how to do all that? hehehe
not a bad suggestion though also i should add, slowing down a beat is also a good way of working out how it's layed out. |
