Anyway, I don't understand how you people brag on about UN's inefficiency when the very nation whose actions you support openly went into a war against the will of the security council. Until all the countries in the world decide to give a part of their sovereignity to the UN, I can't see how you can demand from it to do anything of importance in any area except on diplomatic plan. |

Did anybody watch the AliG episode where he goes to the UN? if not, its on his first season DVD, pretty funny.
In that episode he interviews the previous secretary general( Boutros Boutros-ghali), and he seemes to be a much better candidate. does anybody know why he only served a 5 year term instead of the usual 10? |
