Solar Stone - "7 Cities 2002"....vinyl quality??

hi,
a mate of mine told me that the "7 Cities 2002" is on quite thin vinyl.....is this true??
what is the quality of the promo's like???

I guess not many TAs really are interested how thick the vinyl is, the track itself interests more.
And bumping your threads doesn't help in any way...
Forget the 2002 mixes anyway, they aren't anything special. Solar Stone's own mixes are just reworks of the older ones and Armin ruined the track with his supersaws anyway. Solar Stone's original Atlantis Mix, that's all you need. Perhaps add also Solar Stone's Ambient Dub for chilled out moods and Solar Stone's Coastal Mix for some breaksy approach. |

| Katcha remix (from 2000) is ok, a little more groovy (or something like that) version but still keeping the vibe of the Atlantis Mix. One of the better remixes. Michael Woods remix is a huge disappointment. L-Vee's remix is an ok trancer with a whole another melody, never my fav mix tho but many seem to like it. |

and also utterly hated because first of all many people thought that armin destroyed it with supersaws and then it became vocalized and the thought of that just brought nothing but disgust to many, this is why the test/promo pressing with the full armin vocal mix isn't that wanted, but imo, there is nothing wrong with armin's remix |

I really don't mind the Armin remix.
Of course, nothing matches the original in quality, but both Armin mixes were a nice update that I really enjoyed. |
