| Isn't there an option to link GMAIL to Outlook and check your mail from there? Although I'd imagine that if you do that you'll lose all the "cool" functionality of GMAIL to begin with. :happy2: |

| A friend of mine used to work for MSN tech support. Let me tell you, I'm not surprised about this one bit. All of you would be disgusted at the things MSN pulls with their "MSN 8" paying service... |

| In hotmail sometimes I get returned emails that I never sent to addresses I dont even know. Whats up with that? And in the text it says something like "check the attatchment". Is someone using my account to send viruses? |

Thanks Dur, but see, the deal is, then I have to deal with possibly downtime of THREE providers. I need the POP use at home, so I can store all messages locally for archive purposes, and safe storage, so I'll never trust someone else to not accidentally delete all of my mail, AND the convenience of webmail.
Hopefully gmail will offer POP, and I will have my own domain in the next few weeks, but that still separates the two entities, and doesn't change the ing fact that I have to change over an e-mail address. |

| I am lacking a tool in gmail that lets me add a bunch of conatcts to who i am sending an e-mail in one shot. I can't seem to be able to add them all, i have to type in their names individually - sucks! Am I missing something or is this really not a functionality offered by gmail? The contacts window doesn't allow me to do it either :conf: |

From Gmails online help...
How do I add multiple recipients at once or create distribution groups?
Answer:
While Gmail does not currently support this functionality, we are testing many new features to improve the Gmail service.
In the meantime, you can use Gmail's auto-complete feature to address a message to multiple contacts.
Just enter the first few letters of a contact's name, and select the address from the drop-down menu that appears in the 'To:' field. Please note that, when addressing a message to multiple contacts, each address must be followed by a comma |
