I most certainly do, there is at least 4 of us that use this forum reside in essex, 2 of us from lovely Southend On Sea, 1 from Rayleigh and the other lives in chelmsford.
I am one of those in Southend.

My Nanna is an essex girl, i live in romford for a year, and dated a rayleigh chap.
I even went clubbing in southend, some god awful meat market with these stone arches, know it neo, eh?? eh?? |

I live in Colchester and work in Chelmsford, both wonderful towns with exquisite nightlife! Ahhh the joys of the Hippodrome & Dukes - cheese on toast anyone!???
The things we think are clubs in our youth - shameful!!!

from your name on here i assume you are female and based on that assumption, was you one of the white stiletto wearing dancing round a handbag types that used to frequent Dukes every friday night ?
hehe no offence meant there of course and yes i have been to Dukes a few times myself in the past, but i've not been to the hippodrome in colchester i can happily say :)

Only been to Dukes a few times I can gladly say, however I did go through the very regrettable phase of wasting large sums (comparatively that is) of money in the Hippodrome several times a week! I can however say there were NEVER any white stilettos sported on my feet and there never will be! I leave that business to my sister!! ;)
Im not sure how I ever got over the hell that was student night - 'Build me up Buttercup' and such like!! URRRRRGGGGHHHH!!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: |
