has anyone noticed the constant seismic and volcanic activity around the Pacific Rim lately?

Mt. st. Helens magma dome building again.

during the month of September Mauna Kea in Hawaii has had over 350 small earthquakes recorded. Mauna Kea hasn't erupted in over two decades. http://www.hawaiinews.com/archives/...ch/000310.shtml

dozens of Japanese earthquakes including a decent one on the 25th
http://www.hawaiinews.com/archives/...ch/000310.shtml

Mt. Asama has been quaking and burping for the entire month.

California just had a mild earthquake.

possibly a good thing that tectonic stress has been relieving across the rim over time, but its very active right now.

just something i noticed other than politics lately.
