Why the basement (other than costs)??? It's a stadium with a roof. There'd be no problem with sound ordinances around the stadium and music blasting all night from within there.
Having it in the basement of a stadium would be like sitting in a torture chamber of heat.
If I was a business man, I'd go ahead and book to play on the field...and start selling tickets....then place the stage and all the props wherever depending on how many tickets were sold. So if sales were out of this world, just place the the stage at the end of the field. If it sold half the tickets, slide the stage up to about half way onto the field, don't let anyone behind it, and have the crowd only use half the field.
That's just me, though. :) |

have you ever been in the big O ??
they don't call him the BIG O for nothing I guess...
its huge! even with 10k people on the field, it would look desastrously empty and crazy echo haunts this structure. |

I know they did some black and Blue on the field but that usually attracts ALOT of people, 15K+++.
Bal en blanc was done on the main field too, but they don't like it. I had an interview with the guy who does the decoration and building for Bal en blanc and he told me its a nightmare. |

No Bal en Blanc was on the field!
Black & Blue never had more than 13 000 people.
Black & Blue was on the field for 2 years and it was not the complete field but just the back.
There is no rooms in the basement at Olympic Stadium.
The rooms are under the big tower and is called ''Les grandes hauteurs''!
It's about 200 000$ just to rent the field at Olympic Stadium so if you were a business man, you would loose your shirt on this one.
Please, wait until everything is confirmed!

| i was definatly gonna come up from NYC when i heard the bell center now im iffy i have no clue what to expect in the BIG O basement is it still being promoted as a concert and u think its gonna be as good as it would've been in the bell center..just have no clue what to expect now?? |
