I only have a preview of this, which can be obtained from www.noelsanger.com

I don't think this is very new, but it has not yet been released.

This is pure class prog house, or trance, or whatever. Those vocals are so amazing in the breakdown. Very trancy, somewhere in between "Piledriver" by Amoebassassin and "Escape" by 16B ft. Morel. Great stuff...

I think this track is also on Sanger's "Summerbreeze" CD.

Definatly check it out.

Yup, Noel Sanger is the bomb and he's on these boards too. He replied to one of the other posts - do a search and you'll see. By the way, he's the vocalist on Trapped! :tongue3

Edit: Just read an update on his site that My Prayer will finally be released properly. NICE.

14.04.2004- Release Records on the case again! Months of negotiations have resulted in a virtual partnership between Release Records and the semi-frozen Musicnow Records, for the release of Noel Sanger and Dauby "My Prayer". Musicnow signed the track back in 2001, and it was featured on Noel’s Summerbreeze 2 CD in 2002, spurring worldwide interest in the track and its gorgeous, emotive vocal. Due before the end of the year, the plan at the moment is 2-part release featuring some enormous mixes and an updated mix by Noel himself. More details to follow!

He actually got me into trance. I think it was 3.5 years ago, someone gave me his Trans II: A State of Altered Consciousness CD and I was hooked. Especially that track "A1 Angel Edit" by Goldrush :eyes:

i got to see noel a couple years ago when he opened for tiesto @ the house of blues in chicago. the highlight of his set was when he dropped "in a big country". most of the people there kept chanting "Tiesto" during his set, which was pretty rude.

this song is pretty good. i like towards the end of the sample when it really starts going. this track has lots of potential.

haven't heard the track yet.
however, i am questioning the name.

iraq themed?
russia themed?

:haha: :haha:

My Prayer is an amazing track. That is his wife, Dauby, singing on it. Her voice is so beautiful. Like I said...he is underrated. ;)

i am having an "awwww shucks" moment....

i cant tell you how much i appeciate you guys.

as for the term "war is over"... not really an iraq reference, except perhaps after the fact. the song is about accepting things as they are and ending our internal wars...

fear has gone
and peace is washing over me
the war is over
i surrendered to uncertainty

my chains are gone
my walls were once so fortified
my own illusions
they only ever kept me trapped inside

this tune will come out on release records in the next couple of months, with a superb remix by texas up and comer stefan anion... also "my prayer" will be on release, with a remix by way out west and an update from me...

thx again u guys
