Sarah McLachalan - World On Fire?

OK, so I've had it in vinyl for a month of two (it's on the other side of Stupid (Hyper mix). Not that big a fan of the tune really, too many major chords going about, too happy-sounding. But a lot of people seemed to like it.

However now I'm listening to a Markus Schultz set (MIA Lounge 06-09 2004) and according to the tracklist, the tune on now is that same track, World On Fire (Junkie XL remix). I recognise the vocal but the song sounds different, the guitar thing seems to stick out more and there's less of that happy-sounding chorus, more dark sounding verses. I'm digging this version.

So my question is - are there 2 JXL mixes of that tune, or am I imagining things?

maybe schulz edited it.

There are 2 JXL mixes. One is very progressive (12 minutes long, starts with a kick, then one instrument is added after another for like 3 minutes). That one is great, never heard the other one.

yes, there are two Junkie XL mixes. Both are out there with Stupid (hyper remix) on the flipside, but the same label for the JXL mix.

One is a very bangin' progressive tune. Look for the Nettwerk release with cat# WORLD12

The ambient mix looks exactly the same with CAT# 82876 728631

very stupid indeed.

Yeah... I think the mix I didn't like was a breaks mix, the one I did like was proggy.

Ah well, gotta do some more searching then it seems...
