I am in the market to expand my electronic music collection and am now appealing to those of you who have a large and diverse library than myself for some artist/album recomendations.

Specifically I am seeking mellow interesting tracks that work really well in the background without being so energetic as to steal your focus. The kind of stuff you can listen to while performing intense thinking that will not interfere by forcefully grabbing your attention, or by becomeing boring and repetitive. It should create a very chill environment, like lots of warm, fluffy pillows for your ears. Some examples of tracks that I consider cerebral would be:

Man with no name - Azymuth
much of Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works 85-92 album
Infected Mushroom - Elevation

Thanks folks!
GrimReaper
Here are a few chilled out artist albums i like:

Moby - Ambient
The KLF - Chillout
Ulrich Schnauss - Far Away Trains Passing By
Ulrich Schnauss - A Strangely Isolated Place
L.S.G. - Into Deep
Boards Of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children
Jam & Spoon - Tripomatic Fairytales 2002 (2001 is the trancey album while 2002 is the ambient one)

Will add some more later if i remember. :p
MarathonMan
LSG - Into the Deep, one of the most amazing albums i own, hunt this sucker down!!!!

Electric Calm v1 & v2 are good as well.
starglider
Global Communication - 76:14 (I always say this)
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works, Vol. II (better than 85-92 IMO, but a little less accessible)
