Belvedere is very good, better than Grey Goose. I actually prefer Stoli Vanilla and Red Bull over any other vodka drink. Followed by Absolut Mandarin and Sprite. Belvedere and Grey Goose are definitely more smooth, but I like the added flavor. Skyy Vanilla is pretty good too. |

that's probably because you don't do shots.
you want smooth flavor when doing shots. no flavor in mixed drinks is dangerous because you don't know how much you are drinking.
i don't even know why but i appreciate really good vodka. |

I definitely don't drink vodka shots, but I do understand appreciating good vodkas. I'm not willing to pay the extra for it on a mixed drink when I want flavored vodka anyway. A stoli vanilla red bull is so much better than a regular vodka red bull, regardless of brand. It's just the combination. But I've done some Goose and Belvedere shots and they are very clean and smooth. So much better than standard Absolut or Stoli or Skyy even. |

I love flavored liquors. Bacardi Vanilla is my favorite rum. Stoli Vanilla is good vodka for mixed drinks. I haven't ever tried a shot of vodka before either. Maybe I am missing a high quality that Polish vodka has - I am not that familiar with Polish vodka. |

Well, here is your chance.
Do a vodka tasting.
In terms of price all bottles of the better stuff run around 30 bucks for a 26, but you can get samplers of all sorts of stuff at the liquor store. |

| but who is to say *what* vodka is...its a Polish/Russian term likely, and it falls into the same category as moonshine in the US or brannvin (burning wine) in Scandinavian... |
