that's the whole point of a remix though. to give a different angle to teh song, in this case, hard trance. and tbh, everyone who's in to hard trance thought it was decent. the mar o'tool mix was the bad one of the bunch.
and i vote for the 2003-2004 updates on classics as the worst remixes of the time. havent heard a worth while one yet. |

Tiesto never remixed Ligaya, so that shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand it's hard to make the original any worse anyways. |

| The Cosmic Gate remix of Suburban Train was awesome. Since the original was generic epic trance, turning it into generic hard trance is no bad thing. |

You mean the Yoji Biomehanika and the Walt Remix, right?
Matter of taste again, in my opinion the Yoji Biomehanika Remix made the boring original very enjoyable...the Walt Remix is not that good, but still superior to the original. |

Bollocks, it's a good harder edged take on the original, and provides a lot of punch the original didn't have. |

Bollocks, CG took all the drive and power away from the original and replaced it with a dull beat and boring supersaws. And the melody is awful. |

I didn't like the original Suburban Train....so I am pretty happy with the CG-twist to it!
Bad remix? 'Memory' from DuMonde by Megara & DJ Lee...
But you also have the fact that the original sucks and the remix makes it better, as for me 'Suburban Train' and an even better example is God Music from DuMonde.... That song is really kinda the worsest thing that ever came out of their studio! But Cosmic Gate (yet again Bossi and Nic, yeah) made one excellent remix of it to make up for the badness of the original. |
