My brother went to this place in LA yesterday and said it blew his mind. He'd never seen anything like this before in his life:

The highlight of the experience is the top-fuel dragsters:

They are propane fuled small-block chevy engines that go 0-70 mph in less than 3.5 seconds and pull 2.5 G-forces!! Talk about awesome! :)
They also have F1 inspired cars (http://www.speedzone.com/grandprix.html) at the track top out about 40 mph and a slick-track (http://www.speedzone.com/slix.html) that is like driving WRC! ;)

TOTA should have a day at one of the indoor tracks here in TO! They give massive group discounts and actually let you have a full race-day (practice, qualifiers, champ race, etc). Who'd be up for this one Saturday afternoon? AFAIK price is about $40 for 2 to 2.5 hours. |

| I never really have a lot of fun on the ones around here. They're so damn slow, I want a cart where if I go around the course with my foot to the floor, I'm going to hurt myself. :) |

| theres a place in niagra region with go karts that reach about 75 km/h... i forget where it was but i planned an event with the toronto supra club there... (used to be an executive member) |
