Perhaps raising dead threads is in order ...
(actualy, I'm just going through certain person's old posts now that search is working again and copying down tracklists)
Here are my preferences for a good party.

First of all, my dream party would have EVERYBODY dancing, and would bring together a lot of different musical tastes, therefore the lineup must be diverse. Also,this night would place no requirements on the poplularity of the performers. They would all be hired on the appeal of the sounds they make and nothing else, which is why it would include both small and big names.

Here we go:
In the "Sober" room
1) DJ NEMESIS(good starter the way his sound is so "journey like")
2) Cody Lee(Hard house from LA, very very cool person)
3) PvD
4) DJ Marky + XRS(I < teh Brazilian DnB)
The "ed up" room
1) John B(of "trance and bass" fame)
2) Jare Fox(East coast HHC + DnB, cuz you couldnt have a ed up themed room without some HHC)
3) Funk Lab Live PA(Breaks/Mad Scientists, FUNFUNFUN)
4) J00F

First of all, I hate short sets (less than an hour and a half) because I just can't get into 'it' then. That's why maybe not all of my favourites are present, but at least they get a chance of doing what they do best.

Here we go:

The night starts off with some (one or two, depends on the starting time of the event) relatively unknown talents, always brings something special to a party if they know how to play, definitely better than having some big-name nono playing mediocre or below (do I hear Marco Bailey?). Give them a two-hour set to show their abilities. Let them play somewhat funkier to start the evening off relatively slowly.

* A good example is K-Milla, www.djkmilla.com for the people that do not know her.
* Or Dystorsion, www.djdystorsion.nl

After that, its time for the first of the headliners (around midnight or one), not the hardest yet because we'll save that for the end of the evening. Again, two hour set at least, maybe even longer.

* I always love to hear James Ruskin
* Oscar Mulero is also a great one for this
* For patriottistic purposes, we could also take Steve Rachmad who is quality.

If there is time, throw a live set in between, thereby violating the two hour rule since live sets should take around 45 minutes.

* Regarding what names I've mentioned before and will mention after this, we'll put Surgeon here.
* Speedy J might also be an option, if he's willing to play hard (shouldn't be too much of a problem though)

To close the evening off, it's time for true hard (offbeat) madness (thereby refraining from hardtechno DJs such as Rush and Remus, which I just don't like). Two hour sets again. Options for this are:

* Rumenige & Loktibrada
* Takaaki Itoh

Now that'd be a party I'd attend :)

This is my perfect line up and I will be in attendance at it at the end of november in my home town of glasgow.:D

Well, her looks were not exactly the real reason I picked her, but there's no way I can deny what you're saying :)
