Yo mystery, sick ass sample, what reverb are you using on that clap? lush as hell.

Well actually the one shot I used actually had quite a long tail, so I just extended it a bit with Reason's reverb... basically I just added lots of decay to it.
Fundamental
Remember the mastering? Oops!
Avoid adding a melody? Oops!

I think I just got carried away having fun in Reason, adding all sorts of crap. :p

So, here's my mess of noises...

Mystery,

Sick ass breakbeatz yo. Didn't realized you were into breakz. All done in REASON?

How long did it take ya?

Here guys, I uploaded it to my Geocities accoutn so you don't have to navigate to Soundclick, which really is a turn-off. :tongue2

Rico, love that hard bro.

What did you use to make that? Same sound just tweaked differently, or 2 diff sounds?
RiCo
Hey, man, I used Cubase SX as sequencer, the Access Virus Rack for all the sounds (bass, hard lead, bassline) and TR-909 samples for the rhythm. What sound are you talking about? :gsmile:

I'm not good on naming the sounds, let me re-listen

I guess the Hard Lead, the Dah Dah Dah. could I see what it look's like in your Cubase, the .mid file?

Heh, I grew up with breaks, loved them all my life. Everything made out of singleshots (apart from the basslines) in Reason, no loops.

It took me about an hour. I could had made it a bit better but it was 4AM...

Edit:
I just realised I left an entire hatline out of the tune by mistake... oh well...

Oh man, I didn't save the Cubase project. What I did is I only used one MIDI track, recorded the sounds on an audio track, erased the MIDI notes, changed the sound in the Virus and recorded the MIDI notes for the other sounds into the other audio tracks. Then I manually made the rhythm with the TR-909 samples. I didn't save it because I didn't think I was gonna need it...but I do now...I like that little track. :(

LOL! OOPS, I forgot to comment on that one. I liked the breaks, and the bassline sounds like some kid beat-boxing. The sub-bass that came in about half way kinda didn't fit, but overall, I liked it. Sorry I didn't post that sooner.
