Hmmm...there really isn't a way to answer this without being direct. Terry needs to be very careful who all has his music. I don't believe he will be selling any of his unreleased tracks. I'm sure he would have no problem with you so don't think it is something personal. This is just a general statement in case other people read this as well. It also goes for the people that like to whore the unreleased work of other artists. The problem with sending MP3's of unreleased tracks to people is that people can release the track under their name (if the artist didn't put a copyright on it). Or it can hinder the actual release if there is to be one. |

I never realized the complexity of releasing a track until now.
:sadgreen:
I wish Terry the best of luck in getting these gems signed and released. Hopefully soon than we all think :) |

Most people don't realize it. That's why some artists get so upset about people having their unreleased tracks...especially when people publicize it for download (tracks can easily be ripped and reworked). It has nothing to do with not wanting people to hear their music because obviously they would have never produced it. It has everything to do with making sure they get credit for their hard work. Who wouldn't feel that way? It's a passion for them and for a lot of them it is also their only means of financial support. There are a lot of good people in this world, but there are also a lot of shady people that wouldn't think twice about ripping someone off. It's unfortunate that everyone gets affected by the actions of a few. It comes with the territory.

I agree with you 100%.
I think your post as well as others in this thread should be proof why MP3 downloading is wrong and immoral.
Support the artists. |

Yes but when I defend people like my friend, Max Graham, or my boyfriend, Terry Bones, I get attacked. Bah...people are clueless. They just love to hate. |

Or they're just a bit too deep in the MP3 world and fail to see that the artists would like the support, rather than the stealing.
But this is turning into another MP3 debate. :p |
