technics vs tt-100, which is better and why

List me some of your reasons as to why a technics turntable would be better than a numark tt-100 for mixing
DannyO
Haven't seen the tt-100s, but I think Techs will take the cake anyway, not saying nothing beats them, its just if the 100s are a lower model of the 200s then they ain't gonna be able to match up with the Techs.
Vlad
Do they even sell the TT-100? Is it a belt drive?

Heres alittle logic for you... If the Technics are the best turntables on the market, than how could you compare it to something that isnt even produced and distributed anymore.

The fact that they have stood the test of time and have yet to be pushed out of the market with all these new advances says alot. How many times have the competitors changed something about their turntables to try to beat the Techs out? When was the last time Technics did some extravagant change to their turntables, before the MK5G came out?

you can argue for days about whether or not Technics are the best turntables on the market but the bottom line is they are awesome decks. if you dont think they are the best you still have to admit they were the best for a really long time and they are still atleast in the top 3 or 4 decks. they're certainly nicer than tt-100's.

technics are the nicest decks that i've ever used, and the ones that i own, but i havent used too many other turntables.

Find some Gemini XL DD50 II's...sick decks even if everyone does hate gemini, these are awesome decks. This has been around a good 10 years, no wear on it, everything works fine, awesome torque (not like a ttx-1 where it rips your arm off, better than a technics though) and great ability to stay synced for a long time. They're rare(I think)...I got mine for $50 on ebay :D
