I couldn't shrink it down enough to fit the sample on the normal way so I threw it up on geocities. Give it a listen here:

Any ideas? I'm really dying to ID this thing so I can hear the whole thing! I got this off of an FTP and it was in one of those folders called Unsorted and it was named as I have it named, unknown.mp3 The clip I made is almost about as much as I have of the song but I know its only a part and the full thing is out there somewhere. Thanks everyone and I hope we can ID this song!
Oh yeah I think because Geocities doesn't like me doing what I do, when you click on the link, it says page not found. Well do a right click on the link and select Save Target As and you will be able to download it and listen to it. Its small only 880k but its worth a listen. Thanks! |

| Really? Even if you right click on it and do Save Target As? If you just click on the link, it will not work. Can anyone else confirm that you cannot do a Save Target As? I went over to another computer at my work and I was able to do it successfully. Oh well I will go back to work on making the sample smaller. Its just whenever I decrease its quality, it screws up the sound so bad you can't even hear how it orginally was. Some people on this board seem to have this process down to a science as I have seen one poster smash a 3 minute clip down to around 380k and it sounded great!! Any tips anyone on this process? What are the best programs to use as in encoders and so on? Thanks! |
