jamie catto left to pursue other musical avenues and teamed up with Duncan Bridgeman to make one giant leap, they are about to start on their second album more info here |
Thanks, I always liked Jamie's influences on the band. He was often discribed as the pure songwriter withouth the 'techno'. That was more Rollo & Sisters Bliss' part.
I have to admit that I haven't kept up with the band lately. Gonna check on their site soon! |

I knew Zoe Johnson did Crazy English Summer live, but I though Dido did it on the album - oh well, my mistake. Just checked sleeve notes - my bad.
I also knew Jamie Catto went on to do One Giant leap, never really got into their music apart from My Culture (probably cos it was Maxi Jazz).
Just two weeks until Faithless tour here - can't wait. Really gotta go listen to my Faithless stuff, haven't listened to it for a while........ |

Jamie is an amazing musician and i would recommend the one giant leap dvd, shows u how they made all their tracks on the first album, simply amazing to step into a different culture and pull out things, makes music so much more universal.
Speaking of band members that left dave randall (guitarist), also made a really good album slovo- nommo
which features kirsty hawkshaw on some tracks :p |

youuuuuuuu rannnnnnggggggg?
Yes Dido makes Faithless, just that much better, cuz she rules and she is pretty. Remember now that Rollo produced both her albums and Sister Bliss pops up there with some help. Sarah Mclachlan owns as well but Dido is just a bit better plus the pics of Dido in her life for rent booklet of her looking like some cute innocent girl, just turn me on :). See with Kirsty, Dido and Sarah, you have people who can sing and are good looking (bar kirsty's opus 3 skinhead pic :nervous:) unlike Jan Johnston, Justine Suissa and the other girls who just cannot sing.
so to conclude
Dido Rules :) |

Yes, and Rollo does a great job on her albums. Anyway, it's about time you showed up. For it's your absolute fav that we're talking about!
In my opinion: Dido brings in the more REEL part of Faithless, the 'clear' part:D |

| People can hate Dido, all they want but I reckon she sings better than most and I like her, that is what matters in my book :) |
