Let's get Maverick to release Hybrid, PvD and BiR remixes

Maverick owned by Madonna has long irked many in the dance music community and now comes word that the anti dance honcho Alanis Morisette has allowed Thick Dick and some other producer to do some official remixes for a release. I think it is wrong and just plain stupid when you consider they said NO to these geniuses

1.Hybrid - the mix of So Pure was rejected and the vocal was taken out and it became Jaded Little Pill - Accelerator. Release it officially

2.PvD - Did a remix of the couch which was outstanding but they said NO again, it deserves a release

3.Brothers in Rhythm - Time to release uninvited's remix as well

There is no way that Alanis should be allowed to forget these 3 songs and release utter crap remixes of her work. So I say we all email Maverick and say officially release the bastards!

yes, let's do that

Paul remixed Madonna's 'What It Feels Like For A Girl' too .. i'd love a copy of that.

The whole thing is totally bizarre... as a huge Madonna fan I know she herself is very into dance music, and has been since she started her career. I can only think this has something to do with A.M's personal preferences, or some gits who work at Maverick :conf: very strange

it's alanis, she hates* dance music, when you sign a deal with a label (as a pop/rock artist), there is a thing in some deals that let's the label to have a&r's to get and order remixes of tracks, alanis didn't want that.

*well she do appearently, but like maverick ordered remixes now so i dunno

and what the hell is alanis now allowing 2 second rate C class producers after she turned down the geniuses of the EDM industry

in PvD, Hybrid and BiR

I'll never listen to it or buy her stuff, she has totally lost all respect that I ever had for her.

How do you know they're crap if you've never heard them ;).

You think they're actually going to release those mixes? They're over just a few year's older now. Be happy if you find them on white.

Yeah, sure. Funny how everyone else manages to play the tunes he edits just fine without editing them at all.
