First of all I would like to present my sincere apologies for the lack of recent updates within the past few months. These last weeks have indeed been very hectic for me at both personal and business levels.
Within this line I would like to announce that I have taken the decision to accomplish the mandatory National Service in Turkey, and thus I will be leaving tomorrow for the army and won't be returning until mid January, beginning of February 2005, so wish me luck..
Its been now 3 years that I am being blessed with your support and I strongly hope that our complicity will continue in the future. I cannot thank you enough for this dialogue.
Also I would like to express my warm gratitude to my loving family and fantastic friends, my music sincerely reflects your support and love.
Dinamo will keep broadcasting my sets on Wednesday evenings, however my Saturday midnight spots will be filled by Barish Turker while I m away, you can check www.dinamo.fm to get exact time schedules.
Take good care of yourselves and as the French would say a bientôt!

I really am suprised no one has created a topic about this. This saddens me... But I'm already upset that Yunus is away from his decks. Mr Güvenen was such a nice DJ and his style is so very unique. When I first heard his set on John Digweed's show, I found myself led through this dark, new world that I greatly enjoyed. I became obsessed with Yunus, as a DJ. Finally, he came to Arc (NYC) before it had closed and was an opener for J"00"F. Serge (RaverSurge) and I found ourselves priviledged to meet him, up close, and talk to him about his music and his life as a DJ. We even got him to sign stuff for us. :)
I can safely say that he was as nice as Armin and that's really something... I really hope he returns home, safe and sound. I really hope he returns to New York to spin some more. And most of all, I really hope he returns to a pair of decks, a stack of vinyls, and his headphones and gets back to what he loves so much - being a DJ. |

form is temporary, talent is permanent
even if he comes back in 6 months time im sure he'll be back into the swing of things pretty soon - put it this way, marketed right, the "return of yunus" could do quite well |

sucks that he's away, but doesn't suck that he's in the army, I heard they are pretty proud of service, like an honorable duty. |

| I refuse to let this topic die till Yunus gets back... or at least till the next update on how he's doing (from his site). I want to be able to e-mail him the URL to this topic to show him that there are a lot of devoted fans who care for his wellbeing. :) |
