Disco Citizens Mix, nothing comes close. |
yup yup. i don't really feel the chilled mood of the original. disco citizens remix on the other hand is just what this tune should be IMO. probably chicane's best work IMO |

tough one.. disco citzens remix beats the original I think. im surprised noones mentioned the vocal remix?
power circle - offshore 97 (anthony pappa bootleg mix)

Excellent remix I think. even tho I dont normally like trance tracks with vocals these seem to go together very well. |

Maybe no one hasn't mentioned it because no one really likes it.. IMO it's horrible and ruins the feel of the original/Disco Citizens remix. Chicane liked Pappa's bootleg a lot and it ended up being officially released as Offshore '97. Disco Citizens remix was originally meant to be on the FFTMC album but Pappa's booty managed to replace it. Salt Tank's full length 11min remix and A Man Called Adam's remix on the same promo 2x12" are way better than the vocal version without forgetting the original either. |

luke chable remix = icecream man - onshore (break the ice mix), though this has probably been cleared up numerous times before
the original & disco citizens are two i find it hard to state a preference between. both have the same mood & feel to them, just tailored for different listening environments.. though if i had to pick one it'd be the DC one, for that beautiful 3 minute outro.
i don't really care for any of the remixes mentioned but the screwball mix of onshore was good as a party tune ;) |
