Just being a proud son, and thought I'd share this great email I just found this morning...
Hi Folks!
Just thought I would let you know that Carol has done it again!
She aced #2 on the West course at LakeSaintGeorge Country Club this morning.
She hit a 9 iron to a pin at the upper right. The ball landed on the front of the green rolled up hit the pin squarely and dropped in.
Witnesses were Bob and Amy Farqueson and me (her press agent)
She now seeks a hole in one on the South nine to go with her aces on the North and West nines to give her the coveted triple.
Fore!
John
Something most golfers never do, and she's done it twice. I used to teach golf before my motorcycle accident wrecked my shoulders, and helped her learn the game... and now she's better than I ever was... I thought I was supposed to surpass the old folks.. not the other way around... |

Mossey and I went to the driving range at the Docks this weekend and I almost hit him a few times. I need some of those lessons you speak of. |

Thats not fair. I've been golfing most of my life and have never had a hole in one. I've come really close a bunch of times but have yet to get one. Ohhhh, one day. |

Congrats to the one who scored the ace. I personally hate golf, as a result of my parents who are both hopelessly addicted to the game, but I do appreciate how hard it is. My dad is a 10 handicap and has been for about 3 years and has yet to get one of them himself. My mom too. |
