I just found this pic to be very beautiful and dreamy.. auroras are so cool, and they must be a rather impressive sight during a cold night in Antarctica..

I remember once flying North to South Dakota at about midnight - we were in my Uncle's Cessna, so I didn't have to put up with all those jerks on Commercial flights who like to keep their personal lights on while the sleep :whip:
Anyways, it was really dark in the plane and (of course) outside - all except for the visible Northern Lights. The entire sky was a deep red - it was absolutely awe-inspiring, words and even pictures cannot effectively do that sight any justice.
Just a memory of living on Earth :happy2: |
