sorry i took so long ahem.......
Tonite was such a special nite and a special review is in order. I first want to thank arturo for driving me to MIA. I lovvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee ur altima..... in your words "I NEED" :)
Myself, Harold and Arturo arrived at the same time Markus, Heather and ARmin showed up.
As we neared armin i got a bit starstruck and went into dorky fan mode..... LOL i told him . "armin its an honor to meet u one on one at last. I know u know ambs and it goes without saying i am her male counterpart.... U are number one in my book for the last 2 years"
Then armin asked if ambs was in attendance and I said Yep !!!
We walked over and inside bunch of Ta's were finishing their meal. ERic, Felipe, Raul and Luis were all eating. Later on Sara and Phil showed up. You guys are truly hardcore fans. I defintily respect your entusisasm for the best dj in the world :) Sara you looked beautiful as always (ur eyes blow me away each time i see u)
So, myself, arturo, harold, markus heather and armin all sat down to eat dinner. I died. I was sitting across from my veritable hero. I told markus that my voting on the DJ poll i put armin as one and himself as number 2. :) I also asked Armin about the XXL shows of ASOT and he told me a bit about why it was no longer. I found it a bit tough to talk to him since it was loud but I was able to get my word acros how much of a fan I am of the man :)
We all got situated and ordered a lot of food. Armin had some orange chicken and shrimp i believe for an apptetizer. Alas, poor Heather had a beverage spilled on her, during dinner. Hope u got the stain out...
It truly was amazing just to sit there and hear markus and armin dissuss the music business. Next table to us was buster and darude along with some gorgeous ladies who at the time I had no idea who they were. I would soon find out though...... Darude then came over and introduced himself to our entire table and then started to talk to markus and armin.
the food finally arrived it was delcious I had the baked ziti with the salad and rolls. Later on in the nite, my sexy friend Melissa (happykandy) and the cute "just wanna hug" Mel came by. I got my pics with both and melissa even sat on my lap when we were talkin to armin
she owned me !!!
Ryan later on made a late appereance as well as Ben,and the lovely Miriam. Who was Harold's lap buddy :)
I really cant explain the level of gratitude I have for markus and heather for bringing such a special event to the TA's. It truly was an experience I will never forget. I also want to thank Joe from MIA for helping get our entire TA group to meet Armin....
Funniest moment of nite was when i busted out with the "BLUE FEAR" vinyl and markus goes "Damn bling did u have that taped under the table that came from nowhere". I got armin to sign it... I DIED......... it will be framed along with my picture of him and put on my wall.
Darude's set was very good. I didnt pay strict attention though as i was busy talkin to markus most of the time. He did play "Clear blue" and Mel called Elevation up and told him and markus went to darude to thank him for playing it....... Really cool for Darude to play that .....
As great as it was meeting armin the best was yet to come for me. Buster came up to me and introduced me to the aforementioned gorgeous women. He hyped me up and talked about my clubbing status and then he said these are dolpin cheerleaders. He went away with one of htem and I sat down and got into a great 30 min or so talk with lauren. I think it went pretty well. She is a sweetheart and def someone i plan to stay in touch with........
ONCE AGAIN BUSTER I OWE U BIG TIME.!!!!!!!! You have done so much for me lately, least i can do is come out to Amika for ur a3 party :)
Around 1245 armin left and we left with him. sorry for not saying bye to lots of u as i came with arturo and had to leave quickly...
I SHALL NEVER FORGET THIS NITE
