Well, I don't know about everything that Noisician listed, haven't heard of most of it, but Venetian Snares is pretty good. Higgins Ultra Low Track Glue Funk Hits 1972-2006 is a good album. So is Winter In The Belly Of A Snake.

Doormouse - Skelechairs (Venetian Snares Remix) is a hell of a song.
Sand Leaper
Heh, who thought a thread about him would show up here.

Personal fav tune would have to be Defluxion. Doll Doll Doll and printf("shiver in eternal darkness/n"); are good albums, and he also did a split 12" on Klangkrieg with Cex which is also great (Connected Series #2, #1 with DJ Scud and Phtalocyanine is wicked too). Finally, as Nymphomatriarch (sic) he supposedly did an entire album created out of sexrelated sounds together with Hecate. Should be an interesting experience..

WELL!!!

Ive been to many dj gigs in my time and this has to be one of the most wierdest and insane of all nights.

DJ mat has his balaclava on and looked like a burgular - an insance burgular jumping around like absolute crazy behind the decks whilst mixing 200bpm gabba into some funky house and working the mixer til there was smoke coming from it - there was everything in his mix but mainly breakcore gabba, a few house snippets and then straight back into agressive skull crushing boom crack boom crack at 200bpm.

Those who were dancing were undoubedtly on some illicit substance - msot probably speed cus the way they dance to every beat blows all crazy dancers ive seen at house nights OUT of the water.

Venetian snares - AFX look alike banged it even harder but alot wierder with gabba infused beats transitioning from Gabba into DNB and then into hardcore gabba threw in classical pieces and jsut downright wierd samples and again went crazy on effects and the cd deck.

Verdict: Fresh, very fresh, This kind of night is probably the last but im happy i went - not my cup of tea.

Good stuff
