Like Dj R-man posted, Mauro is a crowd pleaser... he will defenitely show us all a GREAT time. ;)

2. BTW, I would love to see Mauro at some point...but I just would rather see Ferry. And to note, I gave Michelle (my GF) the choice of which one we'd go see, and SHE CHOSE Ferry, not me. I am going to see Ferry next Friday here in SF, so I could kinda deal with not seeing him in LA, too, but she wants to see him....so we are going there. |

I've seen the Lizard man once. At times, it was boring, yes. And at times, it was pure decimation on the dancefloor, a flurry of chaotic insanity. This made up for the moments of boredom. :D
I've seen Ferry many, many times. But, ever since "Rock your Body" came out, I listen to him in fear. I'm worried he is going to play/produce more and more of this Electro . Punk was a huge success, sure. But Ferry should have let it die and accept it for what it was - a one-hit wonder. He needs to go back to his roots, instead of incorporating this Electro junk in his sets.
If Picotto was not in town, I would go see Ferry - after all, he does still bang trance, tech-trance, and some straight up techno. But I would have to leave the floor at the first sign of Electo-crap. Argh. With Picotto here, there is no question where I'll be. :eyespop: |

I love Techno, just what I've heard from Mauro for the past 18months or so has been lacking for the most part. That is all...his sets have become rather bland.
Mauro used to be one of my top 5 DJs until probably last year...and he was certainly my favorite techno DJ.

i would recommend you his 4hr set at aria montreal or his set from ibiza..they will rock ur world. and also u have to remember that techno is made for the clubs not for home listening...i mean techno on that avalon soundsystem :crazy: ok ill go wipe my drool away now :tongue3 |

I downloaded, and yes, it's is very gooooodddd!!! I am not saying every set of his hasn't been great, cause of course he's played plenty of great sets, I am just talking about odds :p
Will have to check out his Ibiza set. :)
