This was my response anyway:
To be honest with you, I have thought a lot about dying, and what would happen if I were to go.
After my friend passed away, I sat and contemplated if I was ready. I am NOT ready for death right now, and if it were to come suddenly, I would not have died feeling complete, or truly happy. So all I can hope is that I am going to live a while longer, just so that I can experience the things in life that will fill those needs within me.
I have however begun to prepare for it in a way. I have written a letter to my best friend, so that if I die, she can find it and do some of the things that I cannot. I have also spoken to a few friends and told them a few things I would want if I were to pass.
I honestly think that once you die, you will live on somehow, whether that mean you go to hell, heaven, or live again with a different life. I think it would be REALLY cool to live again as someone else. Experience life all over again, get the chance to do things differently, see the world from different eyes. Too bad you wouldn't remember if you had lived before or not :( Hey, this might be your 239742nd life. LOL!
You never know, and once you are dead, you cannot come back and tell anyone what happens. So death will always remain a secret, it will always remain a mystery to us.
Right now, I fear death because I am not ready, but one day I will be ready, and I will go peacefully because I believe in God, and believe that he will take care of me in the end :) |

What's to talk about it? You know what it was like to not exist before you were born. Well, that's what it's going to be like to not exist after you die.
Just accept your mortality and make the most of it. Don't waste your life contemplating the irrelevant. |

Wouldn't you like to think more of it than that? Doesn't that kind of sadden you that in result all of this is pointless? |

I just see it as everything being part of one big functioning whole. I just try to keep myself as sane as possible and also contributing to society as best I can. Nothing is every really pointless or purposeful, it just is.
You only have an existence because you perceive it, and when it's gone, it doesn't really matter anymore. :) |

well if you were a buddhist...you would believe that one of the steps in becoming enlightened is a recount of your past lives so in that sense you could unlock the secrets of a past life hehehe :p |

Nothing has a "point" all by itself, a point is really just a purpose that humans give to things. You can choose to give purpose to your life even though it will eventually end, or you can choose to look at something that will eventually become nothing as being worthless.
I've made my choice. I'm satisfied with the little things, so grand dreams of eternity don't tempt me. |

| We humans put so much pressure on ourselves. So many ideologies, religions, G-ds, trends, paths, relations, etc. We are the dumbest of all living organisms. But our imaginations will never let us recognize that. |
