He already does and has done for years. He plays for 8/9+ hours every few months at Casino. Just because it may not be broadcasted doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Just last Friday in Berlin paul played just under 9 hours in total. On the same night, or at least the same weekend Richie Hawtin played for over 12 hours. Most DJ's perform longer sets at some point, whether they can pull it off or not though is a different story. |

I think youll find Paul van Dyk was playing up to 13 hours in Berlin in 1994. Dont even know if armin was getting booked to play anywhere then :haha: As for who started it? Its not really that big a deal for a competent dj. No one really did, but it sure wasnt armin or tiesto. |

Eh, I think Armin was 16 or 17 years old then. I don't think he started DJing until he was 15. |

Confirmed by the man himself:
Armin will not be playing a 9 Hour Set, there was a mixup with Godskitchen and his agent/booking David Lewis, he didnt say how long the set would be though :( |

Yea ive heard those rumours too, including a post in this thread.
Im gettin annoyed, as Ferry Corsten was apparently playing for 3 hours a few weeks ago at Air in brum (Godskitchen) according to Ferrys own website , got there, he only played for an hour and a half ! (11-12.30 if i remember corectly)
Lets hope AVB plays for at least around 5 hrs, the clubs open 10pm-4am, thats only 6 hrs,soo WTF is the agent/David Lewis playing at>!?!?
