Rofl. Just what definition of "cheese" are you using anyway? If you mean quality trance music that has beautiful vocals and a great melody/atmosphere, then cheese is better than whatever bland foolishness you can come up with.
If you mean generic pseudo-trance (synth pop) like Lasgo and the likes, then I agree that it's tacky and worthless. I don't like it when people abuse words with some ambiguous definition associated with them. Slipknot falls entirely under this category, and I can't imagine even a trance mix redeeming a very un-trance sound into something spectacular, but I'll check it out.
Just don't try to clump bonafide songs in a category simply because they don't subscribe to the monotonous insipid forms of trance that you prefer. |
