hi! a while ago i made a thread about building a mac but it wasnt as easy as i thought so i decided to build a somewhat cheap pc with this parts:
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe mobo
AMD Athlon XP 2600+, 333MHz FSB,OEM... etc, etc. (with overclocking in mind but since i dont know much about it, thats just in hold)
and a case that looked nice and came with a Power Supply...
i got it to work and all but i ran into a little problem (to me that is) the case has some cables for the Front Panel Audio, 1394 cables and USB cables, i got the 1394 and USB to work but when i try to connect the FPAudio to the MoBo i get audio on the front but i lose audio on the rear connectors :conf:

i know it has something to do with those 2 jumpers but thats what i dont understand:whip: heres what the connectors look like, i appreciate your help...
by the way this is the first time i build a system:D ;) |

| with those kind of onboard motherbourd sound solutiuons as far as i know its a case of either having the sound from the front connectors OR the rear ones, but not both at same time. |
