For those who didnt see this on the other ASOT thread:
Just a note for mIRC/X-Chat/other client users trying to connect via irc.mixxnet.net...our Netherlands server, Cerebrum [cerebrum.nl.eu.mixxnet.net] is down right now. Due to DNS propagation, if you connect via irc.mixxnet.net it may appear unavailable if by chance it tries to connect to Cerebrum.
To be sure you get in, I reccomend connecting to one of the following servers:
bdsystems.ny.us.mixxnet.net (6667)
etheric.fl.us.mixxnet.net (6667)
The Java Chat has been updated, so Java chatters shouldn't have a problem.
