Never been to see Picotto before. I've heard nothing but good reviews, so I decided to check it out. Honestly, I thought "well, if Picotto doesn't do it for me, Edgar V will." Was I totally blown away by this guy! From the first track to the very last, non-stop craziness!!!!! :eyespop: :crazy: :happy2:
Jumping, dancing, cheering, people going totally wild...incredible! I noticed many younger people there, which I personally don't care. Some older people bash the young ones, but it, they got lots of energy and last night was no exception. Dance your ass off took on a whole new meaning :toocool:
I had such a great time hanging out with the usual TA's and hanging with some new ones :D definately a night I won't forget! And it's 9:30pm the next day...:haha: Time for more partying.......

| one thing i thought was cool about it was when the crowd started doin that soccer chant hehe... OLEEE OLE OLE OLEEEE!!!!... n mauro stops the music n thats all u heard for a bit. |

Olé!! Olé!! That was so co-ray-zee!! This British brova named David was screaming stupid with us during Mauro, when a breakdown came and he started screaming OLÉ! I my gosh, I've never heard Space be louder than it's own speakers, everyone was chearing! We got there before the end of V's set.. he of course owning Space34 as usual. Great house and techno to warm it up. Then out comes Picotto with a co-ray-zee grin and his wicked neon orange and yellow headphones on... buckle your seatbelts, it was about to get rediculous. The crowd was awesome, it was packed, but with plenty of room to dance your arse off. I actually hurt still from dancing so hard.. wow! Mauro dropped the fresh, ill tunes... I've never heard a techno set like that. Off the chain, people. He dropped Call On Me remix... OMG, I had the craziest flashback! My mom has a video of me dancing to that tune when I was 1 1/2... 21 years later..:eyes: :crazy: :tongue2.(I could be wrong about that one) Blue Monday was awesome as well. I have mad respect for Mauro now, he is world class at keeping a crowd going. Edgar came on, amazing how none left, it got more packed!! :happy2: He dropped Randy Katana - In Silence right off the bat... thank you, thank you. I luv a da trance!:tongue2 Edgar seriously almost broke the fog horn this time... he was riding it like a zipline.LOL. Dropped Men in Beats - Keep Pushin', right? Lessons learned from Friday night... don't underestimate the power of the Italian Lizard Man... and Edgar V. is Miami.

| There aren't words that deserve to be associated with this event! Mauro Picotto has surpassed any other DJ in my book!!!! I had no idea that TECHNO is as amazing as it is. I was so impressed by the continous dancing, I saw people I had never seen dancing before losing it! If it wasn't for the Regatta I would have been able to close with space but we left at 6, still ING killer night!! Dare I say, the best club event of my life! |

I'm glad you guys say he tored up!!!! I was kinda worried, cuz this weekend he's here in Los Angeles, it happens to be that Ferry is also here in LA at a competing event. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go, but I ended up opting for Mauro... Hopefully he'll tare it up too... CAN'T EN WAIT!!!!!!! He's been one of my top 5 DJ's since 2001!!!! I've seen him several times and always leaves me wanting for more...
